Self REflection

1) Did this course meet your expectations? Explain?
This course had met my expectations, beforing entering the course I was super nervous because although I was familiar with working on the computer I was not good with different softwares, taking this course has introduced me to many softwares and websites that I can use in my future classroom. Overall, it was fun and great!


2) Why do you think this course should be required for all ED majors?
I think it should be offered to ED majors because technology is continually changing and improving this course introduces future teachers many possibly ways to integrate technology in the classroom. It should be a great class for ED majors because by the time they have completed the course they should be familiar with using a computer or any other technology in their classroom to improve student learning.

3) How will you implement technology into your future classroom?
I would implement technology as much as I can. I will give my student an opportunity to explore and use a computer. I would also have the students use different webistes and software to do class projects or research. I would try as much as possible to have them explore the world through the internet, since most students will not have a chance to leave the island :( From something as simple as having them set-up a powerpoint presentation or creating a slide show I will integrate technology with other subjects.

Overall the class was great! I learned so much from the short time we spend in class. If it was not for this course I will have never been exposed to the many websites and software that are free and availabe to all.
