Weebly

This assignment for last week was to create a professional portfolio using a website called weebly, Mr. J gave us several tabs to include and the rest was up to us. I liked this assignment because it gave me the oppurtunity to reflect on my accomplishments and re think my goals. Using the weebly software was fun, and interesting however the one thing that I disliked was the loading time there was several times when it took more than 20 minutes to load so it was frustrating but overall I liked the software because it was easy to work with. I would say that with a webpage you can do so much and personalize it whereas a blog can do the same but it takes more processing and inputting to get it to the way you want it to look. I would definetly use it in my classroom as a way for my students to showcase themselves and what they have completed from the beginning of the class to the end. By doing that they can showcase what they have and take it with them even after the school year ends.
